Department of Education has a lot of work to do after they lost educators. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there’s been a rise in deaths, some of which can be attributed to COVID-19.
Many educators passed away across the country and Bela Bela was not sparred.
With two educators passing away at Maope High School, two at Bela Bela High School, and one at Mmapatile Primary School to name few.
This happed during the festive season, and some during the month of January, this also meant that the Department of education has to replace them with new educators.
Some educators were among those who went to different marking centres for the marking of grade twelve examinations.
“Indeed our lives will never be the same”, said one person on social media, where there’s been may condolences and RIPs to educators who have taught many across Bela Bela schools.
